What does EWWA SPINEFREE® mean?
EWWA stands for "Extra Wide Wither Cut-Out" (Extra Weiter Widerrist Ausschnitt) and refers to a special design on selected MATTES saddle pads. Compared to the regular SPINEFREE® design, the area at the front of the wither is cut out even further.
This creates additional clearance for horses with high or pronounced withers. The EWWA SPINEFREE® variant was specially developed for these needs and can help to reduce pressure loads in the sensitive wither area and support the horse's freedom of movement.
