Use of Google Analytics with Anonymisation Function

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of our website.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your visits to the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA, where it is then stored.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website. In this case, your IP address is shortened and thus anonymised within the Member States of the European Union or in other countries which are part of the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to analyse your use of our website, to create reports on website activities for us and to provide further services associated with use of the website and the internet. Google may also transmit this information to third parties, provided that this is permitted by law or provided that these third parties are processing the data on behalf of Google.

Google states that it will under no circumstances link your IP address to other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing the relevant setting on your browser; however, please note that in this case you will not be able to make use of the full functionality of our website.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the latest browsers which gives you more control over what data is collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information on your visit to our website will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation will not prevent information being transmitted to us or any other web analysis service that we may use.

Further information on the deactivation option offered by Google and how to activate this option can be found via the following link:

Use of Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps components from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Each time a Google Maps component is requested, Google sets a cookie which is integrated into the Google Maps component when the page is displayed and which processes user settings and information. This cookie is generally not deleted when you close the browser, but expires after a certain period, unless it has previously been manually deleted.

If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you can choose to deactivate the Google Maps service and so prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you need to deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. However, please note that in this case you will only have limited or no access to Google Maps.

Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps may only be used in accordance with the Google terms of service:
https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en

and the additional terms of service for Google Maps
https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html

Use of reCAPTCHA

To protect the forms on our website, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Using this service makes it possible to determine whether an input originates from a human or abuse from automated machine processing.

To the best of our knowledge, the referrer URL, IP address, website visitor behaviour, information on the operating system, browser and length of stay, cookies, display mode and scripts, the user's inputs and mouse movements in the reCAPTCHA checkbox are transmitted to Google.

Google uses this information for purposes including digitising books and other printed materials and optimising services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (such as recognition of house numbers and street names).

The IP addresses transmitted as part of the reCAPTCHA service are not combined with other data by Google, unless you are logged in to your Google account when you use the reCAPTCHA plug-ins. If you wish to prevent Google from transmitting and storing data about you and your behaviour on our website, you must log out of Google before you visit our site and use the reCAPTCHA plug-in.

Information obtained via the reCAPTCHA service is used in accordance with the Google terms of service:
